Welcome to AlexLearn, a Ghanaian digital learning platform operated by ALANROSE ENTERPRISE.
These Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") govern your access to and use of the AlexLearn website, learning platform, courses, educational resources, assessments, subscription services, payment services, and related products and services (collectively, the "Platform").
By creating an account, accessing the Platform, enrolling in a course, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using AlexLearn, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Platform.
AlexLearn provides digital educational resources and learning services designed primarily for learners, teachers, schools, parents, and educational institutions.

AlexLearn makes reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate educational content. However, educational materials may occasionally contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or differences from particular school curricula or examination requirements. AlexLearn may correct, update, replace, or remove content when necessary.
Where examination questions, past questions, examination-style questions, or other third-party educational materials are provided, they may be subject to the intellectual-property rights of their respective owners. AlexLearn does not claim ownership of third-party materials unless expressly stated.
Teachers and other authorized contributors who upload or submit content to AlexLearn agree that:

You agree to use AlexLearn only for lawful and educational purposes. You must not:
Unless otherwise stated, the AlexLearn name, branding, logos, website design, software, platform structure, original educational content, graphics, videos, text, assessments, and other materials provided by AlexLearn are owned by or licensed to AlexLearn or ALANROSE ENTERPRISE.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of AlexLearn intellectual property to you. Subject to these Terms, AlexLearn grants registered users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use educational content for personal educational purposes.
You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, publicly display, publish, or commercially exploit AlexLearn content without prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.
Where AlexLearn allows users, teachers, schools, or other authorized contributors to submit content, you retain ownership of content that you lawfully own. By submitting content to AlexLearn, you grant AlexLearn a non-exclusive permission to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and technically process that content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, improve, and provide the Platform.
You represent that you have the necessary rights to grant this permission. AlexLearn may remove content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of another person.
Some AlexLearn courses, learning packages, services, or features may require payment. Before completing a purchase, the applicable price and payment conditions will be displayed to you. Prices may change from time to time. Changes will generally apply to future purchases or renewals unless otherwise stated.
Subscriptions may operate on a recurring or fixed-term basis depending on the product purchased. Where recurring billing applies, you authorize the applicable payment provider to process payments according to the subscription terms presented at checkout.
AlexLearn may use third-party payment providers to process payments. Available payment methods may include, depending on availability:
Payment information may be processed directly by the applicable payment service provider. AlexLearn may not store complete card information where payment processing is handled by a third-party payment provider. You agree to provide accurate payment information and confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

AlexLearn may integrate with or link to third-party services, including payment providers, hosting providers, video services, analytics tools, communication services, or other technology providers. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. AlexLearn is not responsible for the independent operation, availability, policies, or practices of third-party services.
AlexLearn aims to provide reliable access to the Platform but does not guarantee that the Platform will always be:
The Platform may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, software updates, hosting or network problems, security incidents, telecommunications failures, power interruptions, third-party service failures, events beyond AlexLearn's reasonable control, or other technical circumstances. AlexLearn will make reasonable efforts to restore services where practicable.
AlexLearn may provide progress indicators, assessment results, completion records, grades, badges, or other learning analytics. These features are intended to support learning and may not constitute official academic records unless expressly stated. AlexLearn does not guarantee that Platform assessment results will correspond exactly with results obtained in external examinations.
AlexLearn may collect and process personal information necessary to provide and improve its services. Such information may include, where applicable: name, username, contact information, gender, disability or accessibility information (where voluntarily provided and appropriate), school or educational information, course enrolment information, assessment and learning-progress information, device and technical information, and payment-related information processed through payment providers.
AlexLearn will handle personal information in accordance with applicable Ghanaian data-protection requirements and its Privacy Policy. Ghana's Data Protection Commission states that the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) establishes rules governing the collection, use, disclosure, destruction, and care of personal data. Where applicable, AlexLearn will apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information.

AlexLearn recognizes that many of its users may be children or young people. AlexLearn is committed to maintaining an educational environment that respects the safety, dignity, privacy, and rights of learners.
Users must not: groom or exploit children; request inappropriate personal information from minors; engage in sexual or abusive communications; threaten or intimidate learners; use the Platform to facilitate exploitation; or upload or distribute child sexual abuse material or other illegal content.
Any suspected safeguarding concern should be reported to AlexLearn through its official contact channels. AlexLearn may take appropriate action, including restricting accounts and reporting matters to relevant authorities where required or permitted by law.
AlexLearn seeks to make its educational services accessible to learners with different learning needs and disabilities. Where reasonably practicable, AlexLearn may provide accessibility features, alternative learning formats, captions, readable content, assistive technologies, or other accommodations. However, compatibility may depend on the learner's device, browser, operating system, assistive technology, internet connection, and other technical factors. Users are encouraged to contact AlexLearn regarding accessibility difficulties.
By creating an account or using AlexLearn, you may receive service-related communications such as: account notifications, course notifications, password or security messages, payment confirmations, important Platform updates, and other communications necessary to provide the service.
Where permitted by law, users may also receive educational announcements, product updates, or promotional communications. Users may opt out of non-essential marketing communications where an opt-out facility is provided.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. You should immediately notify AlexLearn if you believe your password has been compromised, your account has been accessed without authorization, or there is a security vulnerability affecting your account. AlexLearn may temporarily restrict access where necessary to protect users, systems, or Platform data.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, AlexLearn and ALANROSE ENTERPRISE will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or unforeseeable losses arising from the use of the Platform. This may include loss resulting from temporary Platform unavailability, internet or telecommunications failures, third-party service interruptions, user device problems, unauthorized access caused by failure to protect login credentials, reliance on educational content for a particular academic outcome, or events outside AlexLearn's reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, damages, or reasonable expenses arising from your: material breach of these Terms, unlawful use of the Platform, infringement of another person's intellectual-property rights, unauthorized use of another person's account, or violation of applicable law. This provision does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer or other mandatory laws.
You may stop using AlexLearn at any time. AlexLearn may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of: a material violation of these Terms, fraudulent or unlawful activity, serious security concerns, abuse of other users, repeated intellectual-property violations, or other circumstances permitted by law. Termination does not automatically eliminate obligations or rights that arose before termination.
AlexLearn may update these Terms from time to time. When material changes are made, AlexLearn may provide reasonable notice through the Platform, email, or another appropriate communication method. The updated Terms will become effective on the date stated in the revised Terms. Continued use of AlexLearn after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
You agree that electronic acceptance of these Terms, including selecting an "I Agree", "Create Account", "Enroll", "Purchase", or similar button, may constitute acceptance of an electronic agreement. Ghana's Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772) provides a legal framework for electronic messages, electronic records, and formation of agreements electronically.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana, subject to any mandatory rights or protections available to users under applicable law. Where a dispute arises, the parties should first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith communication. Where the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be referred to the appropriate courts or legally recognized dispute-resolution process in Ghana.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be interpreted or modified to the extent necessary to make it enforceable where legally possible. The remaining provisions shall continue to apply.
Failure by AlexLearn to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision later.
These Terms, together with the AlexLearn Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented for specific services, constitute the agreement governing your use of the applicable AlexLearn services. Additional terms may apply to specific courses, subscriptions, teacher services, school partnerships, or other products.
